Thats a very nice little radio and external speaker (elite) you have there. The radio was an export model made for the US market around 1954-55. The good thing about the export model is the FM goes all the way to 108 instead of 100 like the German market sets. There are any number of reasons why the set does not power up but not being a tech I can't guide you. There is usually a fuse on these sets by the input which might be blown (3amp slow blow) but if its blown I would be concerned as to why before powering it up. Replacing the electrolytics would be a good start.

Good luck.
