Cleaning Safety Glass - RCA 21T-6225

I am trying to clean the safety glass on an RCA 21T-6225. The glass is inside a gold frame, that according to the instructions underneath the set, is held in place with 8 screws. I have removed the screws, but the frame won't budge. Obviously with glass involved I don't want to force it? Does anyone have any ideas what I am missing?

Never mind. It just slides down Duh...
