No gotchas, but a lesson learned - a bad focus rectifier tube in my GF621W CTC-16 set was loading the HV - I cranked it up to get the correct HV, and had poor focus. I replaced the focus rectifier tube, forgot to recheck the HV, and ate the focus coil somehow. Next time, I'll recheck the HV setting after doing any work in that area. Found a NOS one on eBay a month later.

If you've not already tried to turn it on, bring it up on a variac. Your B+ caps will thank you!

I've got the RCA Field Service Guide and Sams for your set, so if you need any info, send me a PM.

Cheers,
