Sorry, Don, can't say when it is. Just happened to coincide with the urge for a road trip.

Renninger's Extravaganzas

I know that in years past Renninger's held three Extravaganzas per year. Usually in January, February and November. Don't know if the poor economic climate has reduced that number. Their antiques mall fronting US 441 is open year-round.

to clarify.....

Thanks, Anytune. I think that's the best info so far: the Mall is open year-round, 9-5 and the Extravaganza (the gigantic flea-market) is 3 times a year.

what I want to know is what that somewhat obscured big black pile of iron is sitting on top of the set in the bottom left quarter of this pic

looks like a solid machine.

could you crop from the original source image and give me a better view of that amp?

I don't know what it is, other than a tube amp. Missing some tubes, but I don't know much about tube amps....

Will try the crop....tic....tick.....ticka......

well, not very clear but perhaps it will help.

I don't know what it is, but I want it. I like the look of it.

nice looking iron, check
good looking design, check
has potential, check
nice black paint, check

I wonder if any one of our tube amp gurus have a clue as to what it is.

I put it through photoshop to try and lighten it a bit to get more detail, but I still have no clue as to what it is.

Might not be vintage. It looks like plastic switches on the front.
