Bah Humbug, Had to pass on a Quasar Dynacolor console
Went to an estate sale this AM.
A ranch style farm home out in the country. Went inside and was taken back in time to the 1970's. Gold shag carpeting and high quality furniture. No assemble it yourself crap from wallyworld or target here. Saw 3 early 90's Quasar sets, 19" table toppers all clean and nice with original remotes, and a nice looking, and working 25" Dynacolor console. Had the original remote and paperwork too. Not really worth much, but would have liked to drag it home with me. Out of room though so I had to leave it. These folks must have been really Quasar lovers. In addition to the 4 Quasar televisions, they had a Quasar microwave oven, with the original hardbound copy of the instructions and a recipe book. |

Aw, you almost never come across Moto-Quasars let alone working consoles around here.
I've found about 6 or 7 Q's over the years, all of them 80s Panasonics. Really not bad sets at all, but definitely not for me. |
