This thread reminded me of a Website that I came across several years ago, that was built by a young lady in Russia (now Ukraine). She has/had access to the "dead zone" around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant that was caused by the meltdown and documented her motorcycle tour of it. Here is the link: http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/ She has added much more material since I first found the site, but I think it is a fasinating work in photo jouralism. The other stuff is just as interesting as the Chernobyl material. Start by clicking on the links in her toolbar on the left. The original Chernobyl material is the second link down; "Ghost Town and the Land of the Wolves". It'll creep you out big time.
