My 2nd Admiral this week (22X12) !!

I'm running out of space, but managed to squeeze this guy in

Unfortunately, the CRT has a nice burn line in it.

Save is right. While the former owner was watching, I removed the 4 bolts holding the chassis in and slid it out to get it in my car. He commented that if he'd known it was that easy he would have tossed the chassis long ago and made the cabinet into a 'fishtank'

Sorry about that. What areas do you search? Southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois?

It's cool, I'm glad it was saved. I really don't have much cash to spare these days anyway. Yes, I search Chicago to Milwaukee and sometimes further but rarely drive out that far these days.

What a nice score , that's some burn line , while at least you know it needs vertical work and a yoke adjustment .....

I have the table model version of this set. Like all the Admiral's i've had, it worked as-is but of course I recapped it for safety sake. These are nice performing tv sets. I feel that Admiral's are under appreciated in the tv circles but i love the ones i have. Nice find!

Yeah, that's a shame. It's a replacement Sylvania CRT that tests really strong in my B&K 440.

Thanks. I love them too. Easy to work on and all the chassis are similar. I also have a bare 15A292 chassis and a 20X12 that works

Those admirals are nice sets , I always liked the dark bakelite with gold trim .
The one I've always been looking for is the 12X12 , its just like the 20X12 , but it's the table model .
Pretty hard to find .

That is a shame , but you never know , it might not be so bad when it's running .

Isn't the 20X12 the table model - like the one in my picture a couple posts up? That's what the label inside states. I spent more to get that set than any of my others.
