I picked up the GG589M on Saturday, July 25 and brought it home safely, from a couple of very nice people. It is in pretty nice condition, just a few scratches on the cabinet as could be expected, and the CRT has "cataracts". This will be my first lens repair job, but first I will test the CRT. That will require me to finish fixing my B&K 467 CRT tester (or I could borrow an older tester from work if it has the right adapter). I also just got a Sylvania CK3000 test jig, so I will try it out with the RCA's chassis if it included the right adapters (or when I get them). I will upload some pictures soon.
