This guy (or a friend) offered to sell this set to me, for a 'neighbor' back in 2006. I had told them it was worth about $2,000-$3,000 back then...but they saw a report that an overpriced Auction Gallery got about $7,000 for one in 2001, so he decided it was well worth that price (good luck!). It'll be interesting to see where they put the Reserve price!
These are big and interesting, but at least 2 or 3 have turned up on ebay in the past few years, and I know of several more in Museums, so they're much more common then it would appear. If anyone here gets it, just bring a chain saw when you pick it up, to make it fit into a van easier ...
