what TV is this?

On a recent episode of "Top Chef" on Bravo, the theme was "TV dinners" so they had a neat 1950's living room set up, with couch, end tables, lamps and a really nice console TV! I'm wondering if anyone knows what make and model and year its from? It looks kind of shallow, at first I suspected it was just a prop but now I do suspect its a real vintage TV, maybe a 1960-era Philco?

It's a General Electric Designer Series.
The TV itself is one like this but with a nice cabinet and a huge oval Co-Ax speaker.
