Kewl ! Truth be told, for the vast majority of folks-Read people who AREN'T Radio Nuts-One of those, or a similar set, is really all the shortwave set they need...They pick up 90% of what you want to hear just fine, are easy to operate, you DON'T have antennas, speakers, power supplies, etc., strewn out all over Hell 'n' half of Georgia, they have FM, too, which none of my "Bacon-Fryers" do, if it gets stolen, gets dropped, whatever,its not cause to go jump off a bridge somewhere, & finally, you don't have to keep a collection of expensive, fragile, & hard-to-find tubes...
