Fernseh GMBH FarbMonitor

This is a Fernseh studio colormonitor from ~1969.

It was ~23" kine in rugged gray utility cabinet.

Chassis was a modified Blaupunkt hybrid with video in/out/thru fitted using Fernseh-format video plugs/sockets.

It retained the Blaupunkt off-air tuner . Foto is from off air reception [PAL]

Received ~2 miles from xmitter off air from QTQ-9 Brisbane, Aus.

CCIR PAL standard (inbuilt German varactor tuner compatible w/ Australian channel assignments)

Yes, Jackie Macdonald circa 1980 multitasking between kids shows & news--shot in news studio w/ their not so hot (cheap) Philips LDK-2 cameras (main studio had better LDK-5's).

Here's another picture of the Fernseh/Blaupunkt monitor model that I purchased from my broadcast employer ~1980. Note video connectors on rear panel.
