New Vista These have a pull /brightness knob feature my other Maggie Roundie has it but it has no effect on the tv any idea what it is for?

No idea as hadn't ran mine since the 80's--I know it had additional thumbwheel controls at the back .

Maybe the brightness push pull control was for daylight vs. nighttime viewing?
