Philco roundie convergence

over all looks pretty good but for the extreme left where the vert is spitting out (I see blue all by itself).

I am going to check and see if the R16 (left RG vert) can clean it up. if not I am going to start by checking voltages at the output of the Se rectifier pack.

I am talking about just the last 1/2 inch of the left side.

does it have another blue convergence adjustment.some zeniths and maggies had another coil to clean up the blue.you might try sliding the convergence assembly up or down the crt neck to clean it up.zenith boards usually can get near perfect but i have noticed more than a few bad resitors.especially blue for some reason

not sure but I did read about a "wide blue" IIRC, it as a 4th screw on the bottom of the yoke that would allow some add's blue horz adj. Never messed with that yet. cant recall if it was a zenith or rca.

Never saw a Philco, Admiral or Motorola picture that was very good. The color on these sets never quite got it done.
