If Anyone's At All Interested......

This listing for a Zenith is ending soon on Ebay and has not had any bids. I'm not sure if someone else posted this set on here yet, but, just in case, I thought that I'd post it.

I suggest that if any of you guys want it, you should probably get it now. It's too far for me but maybe not for some of you.

According to the seller, the antenna is "broke halfway up." I'm not sure if that implies it is useless or not.

I think I may have that exact set stored in the garage -
If my memory has not failed the set I have has a red ink stamp on the inside of the case with a 1970 date -
A nice little tube driven Zenith b&w set -

Hey Lefty - if u want the Zenith set I have, I'll gladly ship it to u free of charge - I really need to thin down the herd - also have a Zenith b/w hand held set - and a Gamble Skogmo b/w set if u are interested - all work - the Zenith portable is REALLY dirty though - shoot me a pm if u are interested - again I'll even pay shipping to thin out the mountain of sets I have lying aroung here

Just because the antenna is broken does not necessarily mean the TV is useless, although these days, it doesn't matter what condition the built-in antenna is in. This set (or any other) won't work anywhere in the US anyway without a converter box or cable/satellite.

Zenith. Gone, but not forgotten.

When I meant useless I was referring to the antenna not the tv. I should have made that a little clearer.

The antenna is still important because it determines what signal you get with the DTV converter box.
