Telefunken Tv b/w mod. 1475

This black & white TV was sell in the 1975. It 's a Telefunken mod. 1475 to 14-inch screen with 8 channel "sensor" presets for tuning varicap diodes. The peculiarity of this TV receiver is that you can power with 220 V network, with 12V of the car battery. The model was manufactured from 1975 to 1979.

Have you attempted to power it with a car battery? (I heard that those sets were very expensive back when they were manufactured. It makes sense though since not many people in America during the 1960's and 1970's had them. On your roadtrips, you could get different local channels from different areas with simple rabbit ears).

I have only tested the power supply with 12Vdc power supply. The TV draws more than 4 Amps. These devices cost about 170,000 Italian lire. I have one of the more beautiful the telefunken 1253 that has an internal battery can also be 6 +6 V.
