What's the deal with those, anyway? People keep saying they are terrible, but I don't get what all the fuss is about. I mean, just replace it with a 6U8 and be done...
Yup. And 6EA8 will also sub. But 'back in the day' when high-volume shops had to replace 'em by the cartload daily, subbing wasn't really an option.
