Thanks for the info guys. I don't have it yet, but I've been wondering how hard it will be to take apart.

I'm also glad that it's not too valuable. Those guys on audiokarma were doggin' me hard for not preserving it, but I really have no reason to put the money into it, when I'm getting it for free, and have a need for a stereo stand. I think it should turn out nice.

I'll try to post a pic after I get it finished and get it loaded up with some vintage Yamaha stereo componets.
