Were there other kits that used the electrostatic tubes? I met an elderly TV repairman who said that he learned the trade by building such a set but he didn't mention the brand name. Something he mentioned that I found interesting is that he lived in the Philly area and at the time only ch. 3 and maybe 6 were on the air. When ch 10 came on the air he could never get the oscillator to go that high.

There's the Espey kit from 1947 that used the 3KP1. Not sure about other 5" kits; I would guess there were.
