Reunite this dismembered Dumont
Recently found this Dumont cabinet at an estate sale and thought perhaps someone might have the "guts" to put the set back together?
Can anyone tell me the model number? Cabinet is in decent shape, no scratches deeper than the veneer. Labels are all in good shape, and nothing inside looks hacked up. ![]() ![]() ![]()

With an already empty cabinet and a screen opening that large it would be tempting to put a 21" Color Roundie in that cabinet!
Finding a chassis and a good 19AP4 is going to be tough unless someone has a complete set with a trashed cabinet. |

I have everything except the tuning indicator and a couple of knobs (I think) and yes it's in a trashed cabinet. The 19AP4 is weak but works with a brightner, at least it did in a different set. E-mail me at [email protected] if there is an interest. It's the same model, RA-112.

I think my cabinet's legs are slightly different than the models shown in the photos, but I'm sure the chassis is the same as the RA-112A.
It occurred to me that given this cabinet's extra width, a 16:9 flatscreen could go inside, (better the the dumpster it was headed for) but I'd rather the cabinet be used for its intended purpose. If anyone wanted to spread word around to any other forums, it would be appreciated.

I have the whole tuning unit and the grill panel with speaker that might work. I need the measurements of the opening on yours. I have a 19AP4B that test good to about 5 on my BK meter. Mine is a Dumont Teleset Television RA 110 A-2. My Chassis is different than the one your looking for. My Chassis sits horizontal yours is vertical and the knob openings are also different.
Looks like you could do it if you really want to. John Last edited by charokeeroad; 04-05-2011 at 04:58 PM. |

Thank you Airgrabber! Funny how many Mopar people are hiding out on AK and VK...
No love for the '99 LHS, lol?
