Yeah, if he gets the price down to around $50, he might have a chance.

This is not a hybrid. It's not even a CCII. The fact that it has a built in space phone tells me that it's a system 3 from the '79-early '80's time period.

There were versions of this cabinet used with everything from the vertical chromacolor II chassis up through various generations of the system 3 chassis. AFAIK, this cabinet style didn't come along until the mid '70's; so, vacuum tubes were done by then.

I've actually had a few of these over the years. I never paid more than $10 for any one of them. The last one I had was a 9-160 based system 3 that was a donation by the local Zenith shop, who was about to toss it. I don't know if lightning got it or if the 9-160 module simply burned up; but, that module was fried to a crisp. I ended up junking the set.
