My LOSS IS SOMEONES GAIN

I am sad just writing this post but this time it is just not working out for me. I won two tv sets on ebay. One is a nice 1950's Westinghouse console that swivels and the other is a 1950's Zenith porthole in good shape. I live in Virginia and was going to drive up to Pennsylvania to get the sets but my wife has convinced me that with fuel prices being what they are it just isn't worth it. Of course being a tv enthusiast, I didn't really see it that way but to avoid causing an argument I have decided to let the good people at videokarma have the sets. Free, no strings attached. One set is near Sharon, PA. and the other set is a little south of Pittsburgh I believe. If you are interested, send me a message and I will contact the sellers to get addresses. At least some one here will appreciate and hopefully restore the sets.

That's sad you couldn't get at least one.I'm done getting sets for quite awhile myself.I wouldn't have gotten my Porthole if I knew what was happening a week later.I got a call to look at a house ,made an offer and it was accepted pretty quick. I really could use what it cost me to get the Porthole right now since all of my money is tied up getting the house.

My Porthole is a combo and I love it but to drive from the lower eastern shore of MD to Bethleham,Pa cost me over $100 in gas and tolls and I was driving a little Ford Ranger with a 4 cylinder. So if your vehicle is less fuel efficient it would cost even more.Gas was sure a lot cheaper went up that way to pick up a jukebox a few years ago. Now the only problem is no money and no time to restore it and I have to move a tv that's as heavy as a refrigerator again...lol.

Which set is near Sharon, PA? That's where I'm originally from and I need to take a trip there to see how my dad's headstone turned out.
