Another dreamer on evilbay

Seems like lately more and more '50's B&W TV's are turning up from very reasonable (if you can go get it) to outrageous. Any takers for this one?? They say they are raising money to fund their new endeavor on evilbay to buy more stuff to sell!! Good luck.

This seller has a bunch of overpriced stuff including a Stromberg Carlson he's had listed for a while now. http://www.ebay.com/sch/wholesalecar...&_sop=16&_sc=1

"TV Bob" needs to work on the width adjustment a little. If that '49 Philco is like the one I'm working on, it has taps on the width coil to select the right adjustment range.

The description of this set is about as overblown as the price!

I looked at this seller's stuff on "the bAy". He has over 6K items up for sale. From small to the ridiculous. But all that being said, he has excellent feedback. So, who knows???

I just looked at the sold items from this guy. One Zenith "Walton" went for $6K and a Chinese SC radio went for $15K. Let's face it, he is a 'One Stop Shop'. From soup to nuts, the nuts being anyone who would pay that price in the first thread

I have one of these, and I got mine at a flea market for $15. I'm looking for a new cabinet though, the original had severe water damage and was beyond repair.

I'll Take Me Some Of What He's Smoking

If he's selling some of what he's smoking, I'll take about a key.

I called Bob, He says $400 is on the low side for a restoration, chassis only. He's never heard of Videokarma.org,

I'm out.!

Looks like you can see retrace lines on the stromberg. Is the restoration done yet?.......
