Flash Matic Remote

I am interesting in purchasing a Flash matic remote. I see that some have been sold on ebay in the past but not aren't any currently for sale. Does anyone know where one would be available? Thanks very much for any assistance

I bought one from someone who advertised it here, unless someone else pops up with one for sale then eBay is your best bet, one will turn up sooner or later.

Expect to pay north of $200 for one, maybe more now that the inventor died and more people are aware of them.

I see the ad's for the Flash-Matic have been selling like hotcakes since he died on the 22nd, that remote that sold looks like it was painted, the originals were green, the replacements were beige (or so I've been told) that one was beige but had been painted to look green, the inside is still beige, the lettering wasn't even redone afterwards.

Thanks Eric. I appreciate it. I'll keep checking ebay. Hopefully someone will have one for sale soon.

Those are hard to come by, and I'd say that if you see one for $200, grab it. I've seen them go for double that on eBay in the past. The best bet is to find one at a swapmeet or garage sale; maybe in a box of junk flashlights. Many people don't know what the Flashmatic remote is, and they might just think it was a promotional flashlight or toy.

There's one on eBay now.
It'll be interesting to see if the death of the inventor and the publicity about it will boost the price.
