Detrola Model 339

Actually a Model 330

My friend's Grandfather, years ago, restored the finish of this radio and gave it to him.

25 years ago, my friend had it in his truck and opened the passenger door and it fell out and hadn't worked since

I knew he had this radio so last week I said I would take a look at it

I replaced all the capacitors and cleaned it all up

For me a standard radio restore

It now works great, dead silent and clean traverse thru the freq range

No control noise

I couldn't find the actual schematic and had to use the "power of mental thinking" to figure out where the three can caps went (10uf, 12uf, 20uf)
I must have got it right

I'm sure his Grandpa would be pleased
