Yes, tvs used to have names to make them more classy. Remember its a hand crafted elegant piece of work made out of natural materials. You wouldnt give a robot made plastic and sheet metal flatscreen a name, just a number.
It came from a time when even poor people tried to dress nice/have dignity and it was EXPENSIVE. Flat screens come from a time when poor people aspire to be and dress like prisoners, again only a number assigned. Ok I have totally lost it,,way off topic
