Try resoldering the delay line (on the main chassis) and look for any other bad solder connections in that area. Also, it would be a good idea to pull the electronic tuner module, as well as it's associated control module apart and resolder the ground connections, as well as any wirewrap connections and any plugs that connect the two modules together and any plugs that connect the modules to the main TV chassis.
