Question Any TV's here worth getting ?

edit: scroll down for more TV sets.

Found someone with some sets that he wants to get rid of.
There's no prices yet, but I got some photos of the sets.
I dont know if any work or not.
I dont know the brand or models numbers.

Here's some pics.

That metal cabinet set in the middle looks interesting. The larger screen one to the right looks like it would be decent to repair and watch, but I wouldn't get it as a collector's item.

If the three in the one pic are priced right I'd grab them all, though it may be tricky to find a knob for the one.

I would definitly get the two on the right. The middle if I could only have one. The one on the right could be a great daily driver if the CRT is good!

The Bradford was sold by W. T. Grants.
Prob. a GE. Consoles were Wells Gardeners.
The middle set looks like Admiral & prob best of lot
but the Bradford best fits with the sets you have.
I think the one on the R is an RCA.
One on left poss Sylvania.
They all look familiar but that was yrs ago
BTW they are all B&W's & only the Bradford may be solid state.

Top to bottom
Quasar bad FBT's nice otherwise. dont by if "dead"
Toshiba prob an Orion, too new.
Viking 13 prob Samsung
Zenith good sets & CRT but looks beat
Hitachi mid-late 70's
? Sanyo ? if so nice set
UNK slide rule dial have no idea what it is
Sears 13 UNK maker
JVC nice sets as a rule but made some dogs at the end.
Hitachi console as said FBT's
Viking console Admiral ?? if so its solid state & a very good chassis.
Admiral ? console looks like there solid state, may be same as Viking.

I like the 2 consoles. Admiral solid state consoles were very good sets,
tube jobs not so hot. Every Viking console & many other 60's - 70's
sets I seen was an admiral.

The other set that interests me is the suspected Sanyo
19" with digital tuners. They were very underrated.

Since they are free if you have a way of getting rid of the
carcases free take em all. You can experiment with them
& ultimately part them out or pass along.
That Viking 13" may be Sharp but looks more Samsung or GS.
Could tell with pix of back & label.

i like the admiral too.very good sets and some of them had a really fine crt built by sylvania during the mid to late 70s.saw more than a few of them they were real workhorses and produced a fine picture that held up with the great zenith, rca and sylvania sets of the era
