zenith c27v22 from 2002 thrift store find

I picked this up from a thrift store last week its hdtv monitor. I did a little adjustment to the grayscale and sub bright and the picture is fantastic. 1080i and 480i is fantastic. I looked in the slits in the back and it looks like a zenith chassis I don't who made the crt. who ever it was they did a good job. it has a vga port in the back. connected to my pc and use as a 27" monitor.

I have a zenith hd set from 2003 that I need to look into, but that set has a lg built chassis. I think a cap went bad in the hv section, but that's for another day.

I thought I might share it I pick up crt sets when I find them at a good price and store them. I still watch them everyday and I plan on using them, plus if they tear up I can fix them.

Never seen that model. Must have come out just after we
stopped selling Zenith. I do remember an ED or HD 27"
flat square tube model, sold a few. When one came in a
few yrs later I pulled the back and........... it was a DAEWOO !
But I must say they had a damn good pix & the chassis was
laid out neat & well built. Not what I would expect from a Daewoo.
BTW it had a shorted FBT.

I don't know who made it, it looks like a zenith chassis. I had no need to take the back off. I just pulled the service menu up and changed the grayscale and sub bright. maybe one day I will open it, but for now I will watch it.

on the other zenith it has power no hv and sound comes in and out. it would have interference in the picture when it was cold but then go away. I need to put it in the bench and troubleshoot it down.

I think you have one of the last Zenith Chassis ever built. The tube is probably an LG, but I guess there is a possibility it is a Daewoo since in the end they were buying some smaller tubes from Daewoo, mostly 19" and 20"s

I have a couple of 13" Zenith sets, that are assembled in Mexico in late 1998. The CRT's are made by Daewoo. The sets seemed to stand up well.
