philco r-191 & d-191 split chassis next restoration

am i asking for trouble restoring this philco i love the cabinet. it also has a excellent crt. i have the factory service data. what are the pros and cons. thabks steve

With a good CRT it will come out very well. The basic design is very good and it is an excellent performer. Check resistor values and take care not to build in any troubles.

It was the last year for the split chassis. (1954)
