space command help needed

So my 1960 zenith space command comes on and works just fine for about 5 minutes then POP in speaker and a large squelching noise. The picture is all bent squiggly and with about 6 lines in it it almost looks like a circle. no actual picture.

Interesting..... Start the set with normal pix. Lightly tap on
the hoz osc, output & damper tubes & see if you can make it act up.
It may also be the yoke shorting. After it craps out run for a short
time < 1 mn, unplug & look for smoke or bad smells. The
nose knows...............
Beyond that it could be a lot of other things. If you can put
up a picture & give the model & chassis number that will help.

Off topic, but I scrapped a mint condition set like that and if you need any of the remote control parts or other chassis parts you can PM me.
