Thanks for posting this John. I have never seen this footage before. It's also a little confusing. This film was obviously put together by RCA, but the July 7 date doesn't make sense. The first demonstration of the RR359's to the RCA licensee's was on June29.
![]() (note: not my picture) There was a later demo on November 6 so I think this July 7 demo may have just been another in a series of demos and it was just easier for them to label this one as the first. I also got a chuckle out of the posters comment that there were perhaps three TV's in existence at the time ![]() Darryl |

I thought that was fascinating! I only read about the broadcast and had no idea it was caught on film. So great seeing Ed Wynn. It seems he was unprepared and rather nervous! It would be great to see this played today on one of the few original RR sets in working order!
