I'd recon I've got roughly 1.5K in the approximately 35 collectable sets I currently own. Which comes out to about 60% of what my car cost me, and about 43$ a set...And I can if I REALLY want to (and do a LOT of work) likely find a way to watch better than half of the analog cable channels I get at the same time! I also can fix nearly all the sets I own my self if I want...

And if a set or three fails while school has me too busy to fix it I can simply use one or more different ones even if I gotta drag another over...
