Zenith tv rider 3-1

Hello,
I'm looking for Zenith tv riders 3-1 or any other schematic revisions for for a 28t960eu chassis 28f20-21 or 22. I have the Sams but parts of schematic are different.
Thanks, Paul

Thanks Steve,
I should have mentioned I also had the factory manual printed off from the ETF. (Thank you very much for that)That schematic also matches the Sams. My chassis differs in that capacitor c6 (SAMS) is a two section cap instead of three section and there is wiring changes in that area. I have the tv working but some voltages are off around the brightness control and 2nd video amp plate voltage. Brightness is bright to very bright, cannot turn brightness way down. I checked voltages on brightness control but dont have notes in front of me now. I know I didnt have enough range in control. I was thinking maybe the Riders would have revised schematics.
Thanks for the help.

You mean Beitman's?
I have the Zenith you need. I don't see C6. I'll send 2 pages to you.

Schematic in the Rider Vol 3 is the same as the Beitman.

Thanks Sparky and Steve,
I had found the Rider tv Index on the ETF website and saw they listed a revision for the 28f20 chassis in volume 3-1. I hoped that was the change in schematic I was looking for.

Sparky, Thanks for the Bietmans scan. Does Bietmans list any revisions for that chassis?

If I understand correctly, the problem is the EU suffix? The Beitman's that I have lists the manual as: Model 28T925, 960 - 963 Ch 28F20, 20Z, 21, 22. No revisions listed. As I said I have the whole thing all 17 pages, if you need it.

Thanks for the offer to scan the manual, I sure appreciate it.
I guess I'm not sure if they added the EU suffix when they made the change or if it was just a mid year change to save a capacitor. I'll compare the Beitmans against the Sams and see if they match( I think they do) if they do then there wont be any need to scan. Was going to do it now but i had a few Hacker-Pschorr and I'll have to try later

Found it

Finally tracked it down. I have chassis 28f20 with wide band picture IF. Its in Rider tv 3 page 13,14. I checked the local Library but they didn't have any of the Riders so I bought a cd off ebay. Glad I bought it, I'm sure I'll use it in the future. Anyway, Thanks, Sparky and Steve.

Paul,

Glad you found a good copy!

What seller did you buy it from?

The last Rider CD that I bought was a waste of money as it proved to be almost completely unreadable.

James

Hello James,
I got it from ke3gk ([email protected])
Quality seems real good, advertised as high resolution scans at 600DPI.

That's where I got all of mine from. The only problem is he plasters his callsign all over the documents. If I buy something of yours you offer for sale that is not yours to sell as a manufacturers' authorized seller, don't watermark the damn thing with your own logo. My only complaint.

Yeah, I just read the End User License agreement. I had no idea that someone can take copyrighted, free domain material, and then restrict what you do with it.
