I appreciate the advice. In fact, the directions for grounding an electric fence require three of these rods.
In this case, however, is there really a safety issue? The ground is only used intermittently for RF signals. Otherwise, the set would not be grounded at all, and the shock hazard is addressed with an isolation transformer. Please understand that I am not questioning your advice, but need to know, in this case, if there is a safety concern.
