I'd start with the Zenith consoltone....Not junk, but it's probably the least valuable set there.
Most states have their own antique radio collector club that holds swap meets several times a year. As a SE Wisconsinite I'm close enough to the WARCI that meets in Milwaukee and the ARCI that meets in Chicago to attend both clubs' meets. This site has some good info on what restoration entails, and how to go about it. http://antiqueradio.org/welcome.htm
