I was playing it on batteries for a while (previous owner supplied it with 10 modern 9v cells bundled together in place of the now-obsolete "B" battery, but I'm too lazy to try to rig up something like that again). Any ideas where I could look for a cord for something this old?

Thanks!
I have 5 or 6 of those Motorola portables, but only 2 cords. They always seemed to go missing and they had a tendency to break the conductors next to the plug, that went into the radio.
I've seen the radios used with a standard TV power cord trimmed and forced in, as the pins are slightly larger and further apart.
