Late 50s at the absolute earliest. They signed on as an independent in 1955, and became afffiliated with NBC in 1956. The two to four hours of color daily was probably network programming. That required minimal color equipment in the actual studio. Just some color monitors, a colorplexor, and some mods to the transmitter IIRC.
