One reason, it's huge (note the two handles), other reasons were all the knobs and tubes had been removed. I probably could have replaced the tubes with ones from my stock but the knobs would have been a nightmare.

That thing probably had some desirable Amperex "audiofool" tubes.
I just scrapped one for the tubes. This one had the plug-in subchassis.
Forget it! No one wants that rubbish.
