The .01 uf cap is connected across Coil L16, horizontal waveform adjust. If this is set wrong the picture won't lock horizontally. As dieseljeep noted noted.
The sine wave coil on the schematic I have from ETF shows that coil as L155 unless there is another listed as L16 . The .01 cap across the sine wave coil I changed already with no improvement and I checked the coil it is not open. So it won't be easy to watch 3 images , lol .
