Emmett Till, in the picture, was the kid who was killed in Mississippi in 1955.

Looks like the TV has a CBS channel 2 on. Likely in Chicago, not Mississippi, if what I find on the 'net is accurate...

The TV looks to be fairly new for 1955, Wonder what make and model it was.
