Where is everyone from?

well I am from melbourne, australia ...not florida ...melbourne is a little city of 4 million...lol .....and of course we use the PALG 625/50 standard and are moving to 1080i/720P HD standards on digital.

as for old tvs ...well colour didn't really arrive until 1974 and so the oldest sets here are from then ...and as my mate on this board, Troy, has found ..there are no roundies here ...well we will keep looking ...we know color tests were conducted in the 60s so there may be one in somewhere!!!

and here in my hovel I keep my Beta VCR and PAL CED disc untis in working order!
