NEC TV photofact/ manual
Just got a huge 25" NEC tv and I need to adjust the dynamic convergence among other things and I have no idea what to turn. The chassis is an X8A-1 and I can't seem to find anything about it whatsoever. I don't even have the NEC model number for it because it was rebraned as a Vector Research Vectorvision VTM-25

Sams didnt cover NEC. You can use almost any manual from the
era to do set up. Be sure to mark the neck magnets before moving them. Side & top & bottom are set by bending the yoke & wedging it. 73 Zeno ![]() LFOD ! |

I haven't been able to find any manuals with the same or similar chassis. I set those rings on the tube as good as I could get them but the convergence on the bottom is perfect and at the top it's way off.

Try bending the top of the yoke in & out. Also see if any wedges fell off.
There is probably 3 of them. Almost any brands except Sony will have the procedure, all in line jugs are basically the same & starting about 1980 all sets used in line CRT's. 73 Zeno |
