Also you don't use a focus coil with a test CRT. I'm probably stating the obvious but there's no telling what can be overlooked. Never mind, just read you post before mine. Good on you.

correct,

that is why I picked it,, of the few that ETF had, it was the only one that I did not have to worry about ion trap and any focus ( automatic ), i just happened to pick the VERY used one, it had scratches and 2 burned spots on the screen.
they still have 1 new on I think.
