That's a RCA Model 5 prototype. Holy shit somebody needs to get that. Probably beyond any hope of restoring though.

Don't know, but it's in too poor of shape to be made into a Cat bed or Bar so it must be a collector.

I believe a collector from NH nabbed it. A local collector friend tried to get it, but missed-out. It's actually not as horrible as it first looked. Even the CRT is not necked. To be an early production engineering department color set, it's worth a long detailed resto.

Let's not forget the troublesome vertical convergence transformer. It may be bad as well.
Still, if the CRT is OK, it would definitely be worth restoration. It's truly a shame that it was not stored better. |

I would be surprised if the CRT had no vacuum at all.
Nor would I be surprised if it was not an actual 15GP22 but rather a prototype. |
