Many times packages are thrown around haphazardly in shipment by UPS, et al. and arrive at their destinations damaged or even destroyed. I once had an old radio delivered to me from Arizona some years ago (I live in Ohio); the set was shipped by UPS and arrived at my home with considerable damage, so it must have been handled less than carefully by the carrier. The same thing could happen, with disastrous results, with the flat-screen TV being discussed here. Enough said.
