Radiograms or othe tube (valves) consoles

Hello folks. Does any one of you own a radiogram or another only audio tube console (so a radiogram that can also play tape or one that haves a tape player in stad of a record player/turntable, so a kind of radiotape).

Never heard "radiogram" before. In the us we usually called them radio consoles, Hi-Fi consoles or stereo consoles. In the US prior to the 8 track, tape decks built into consoles were not common. Most consumers that had a console and a tape deck had a portable tape deck (by portable I mean a 120VAC mech the size of a suitcase in a tolex covered wood box) and would connect it to the tape jacks on the console. TVs also tended to be separate from audio consoles. In most of the decades where TVs and consoles both existed the average consumer had both a TV console and a separate stereo console often in cabinets that matched the furniture.
Most consoles after 1948 were radio and phono only. I'd estimate only 10-40% before that had phonos.

I've owned many consoles over the years from the 20's to the 70's and still have a few. One of the more interesting ones I have is a 46-47 Silvertone that has a magnetic wire recorder, 78 RPM only changer, and a 4 band radio FM, AM and 2 SW bands.

Probably then "radiogram" was a British term.
In Europe we had consoles that had radio + record player + tape recorder. In U.S.A. you had some radio + record player + tv, but in Europe (I think even in communist countries - see this one) we had radio + record player + reel to reel tape recorder + tv. In U.S.A. dind't you had in stad of a reel to reel 8 track?

We did have some radio + phono + reel tape consoles, but they were far less common than radio phono consoles. In the late 60s through late 70s audio and TV/audio consoles had 8 track and or cassette and it was more common than reel tape was.
A sizable portion of consumers found reel tape threading too much of a hastle and either didn't see the need to pay for a reel tape deck, or had one but only used the reel tape machine for special occasions like recording baby's first words, or preserving an important radio broadcast. There were music releases on RTR but not many people bought the more expensive tape format release. Most tapes found today were home recorded blanks. A large portion of the smallish subset of consumers that consumers that used tape for music either, dubbed their favorite LPs to tape to preserve the LP, dubbed music off the radio for free, or copied their albums to tape and traded music with their friends.

Some Curtis Mathes consoles had TV, reel tape and the typical radio/phono, there was also an Ampex console that had all that and a reel to reel Video Tape Recorder.

My RCA CTC-21 also has AM/FM Stereo and a record changer, if that counts..... I suppose I could plug the Akai reel to reel I have on top of it into it
