What model is this...probably Magnavox...?
Kind of a longshot but here goes.
The att'd is a screengrab from an old VHS tape I made at my parents' house in 1987. Best I've got. Been trying to work out make/ model of this TV so I can try and come up with another one. Pretty sure it's a Magnavox from the 1977-79 period. When it died and the parents gave it to me in 1989 or something, I remember trying to track down a flyback transformer for it. At the time I was told it was "actually made by Philips" and sure enough downtown Vancouver the Philips warehouse helped me out with a schematic and a replacement part. TV's long gone now and I've searched up every permutation I can think of on Google image search but nothing's close. If anyone has an ID - I'd appreciate it. Might've been a sold-in-Canada only model or something. No idea. |

Does not look like any Maggy I have seen stateside. It may be
a Phillips as opposed to a North American Phillips ( NAP ). Nap sold Sylvania, Maggy & Philco. In later years also under Phillips. A few 13" sets did have a real Phillips chassis. Nothing bigger that I remember. Larger sets had NAP chassii most built in USA. The NAP chassii evolved out of the Maggy. Sylvania & Philco chassis got dropped after parts ran out. 73 Zeno ![]() LFOD ! |

It looks like an old LXI, which would have been made by Magnavox.
Best of luck, hope you can find one. |
