The tv would still be nice to watch Lucy or honeymooners on it

Gotta wonder if there were 6VDC accessory phonos/changers or if they were strictly windup affairs with a magnetic cartridge.

About the only thing I'm not impressed by is lack of an RF stage... Something I've seen in other farm radios.

You get anything in the auction this week Dave?
I don't what auction! I not buying anything now. I have to thin out my collection.

Joe Halser's auction. I bought a ton of stuff from there including a Scott projection set, several high tube count chassis and pair of amps he built. I'm looking forward to picking it up tomorrow.

If you come up here, you would have to rent a U-Haul!

I have to watch my entries! I know the English language a little better than that.
I haven't heard of the auction!

Confusing, but I figured out what you meant. You might want to give the WARCI your email address so they can email you about stuff like this (which is how I heard of it).
I'm not really trying to buy either, but there were enough deals to be had (Ignoring the amps) that I couldn't resist.
Audiophools don't understand money...one of the 2 nuts I was bidding against won it then weasled out of his bid and it got offered to me as next highest bidder by the auctioneer after the fact.
I'm planning to avoid any purchases between now and the ETF....Though someone will probably shove something cool and or cheap in my face between then and now.

I don't think I'm in good standing with WARCI because I didn't pay the dues, seeing as I can't go the swap-meets for now.

So they found the bag of missing knobs, I suppose I'll be picking these up. They can gather dust in my garage till I figure out what to do with them.
