Alright the TV does power up and the only things wrong with it are the very loud buzz in speaker and no OSD( on screen display). I hooked up my Sega Genesis and with the remote or buttons on the TV was able to tune to channel 4. Here is video showing what is doing https://youtu.be/qa7LNQ5cB74?is=Zjf09przu7eA16gI.

I guess if worst comes to worst just unplug the speaker who needs sound anyway
